Football = heat. But being a host nation makes it way more intense. Get eliminated and you’re stuck watching other fans celebrate the rest of the way.
So for EURO 2024 every German fan got free Sprite when the hosts conceded a goal. Served up with fun content to keep them cool. And (spoiler alert) when they got knocked out, we kept them cool as Spain went all the way. Apparently fans were calmer than usual during Euro 24. Sprite isn’t listed as an official reason, but we surely made a difference.
